Trash the Dress in Old Sacramento
Normally I wouldn't Blog and Blast so close to my last blurb...but I couldn't wait to show you all these photos I took last night! I got together with a group of friends and a couple models to do a Trash the Dress shoot - which basically means we get to shoot what we would love to shoot on a wedding day but can't because brides are too worried about getting dirty! Our models Courtney and Ryan were so stinkin cute, sexy, playful and patient. Poor Courtney got tied up on the train tracks...but she looks so good even laying down on greasy tracks! Alot of younger newlyweds are now doing these sessions after their wedding to have some fun in their dress one more time and to get some amazing shots. Here are some of my favorite shots...hope you enjoy them! Please feel free to share this with others...I would love to hear what people think about this Trashy Session!

My favorite one is the one where the couple is dancing in the middle of the street. Did you bring your strobes with you or did you use a portable flash? It turned out really good. The color turn out really good in terms of skin tone and looking natural as well as the poses. What methods in photoshop did you use to edit? The couple really had a good time and they don'y look stiff and it didn't feel forced. I really like them
Awesome shoot, my fav's are #3 and the second to the last one. Yes the lighting is great, I too would like to hear the setup you used!

The pictures look great, my favorites: numbers 2, 3, 6 & 8. I love the playfulness of the whole shot though - trash the dress! That's a great idea!! :)
