Sacramento Fashionable Senior Portraits {Kate}

So mom drove the getaway car on this awesome Senior Urban Session...GO MOM!!! I sat shot gun giving her directions to all my favorite little places around town. We managed to crash a Girl Scout party, were approached by a helpful soul who thought we were broken down and got little Emma into a fierce frenzy at the park...not bad for a days shoot! Miss Kate is a fabulous 2009 Whitney High senior with grand theatrical plans in her future! With such an artistic and creative soul herself...we had fun running around capturing senior portraits unlike any other. Here are a few of my favorites from the day...Enjoy!

Sacramento Wedding Photography, Engagement Session {Erika + Ryan}

i HEART my wedding clients!!!! They give me so much latitude to play and really create images that stand out and satisfy my creative soul...yet still speak the truth of their love. Erika and Ryan were fabulous and we played all day long for their engagement session. They warmed up in front of the camera first at McKinley Park...then we stopped for a quick bite of Persian food (yum!)...headed up the hill...more stinkin cute photos here and there and then made our way back down the hill and ended our night by celebrating with chocolate shakes and fries at In and Out! yes..i know...I've been a very bad blogger...so many things happening in life that sometimes something has to give...and this time it was the blog. But I'm back and ready to share some awesome work and announcements with you all again! Here's one for starters...

I had the great fortune of meeting the lovely Noelle Favour last week. After talking with her...we discovered how many people we knew in common but yet we had just met. Noelle is getting ready to do some advertising for her esthetics business and was in need of some new headshots that were different than the rest...I think we nailed it! Sacramento Child Photography, Modern Kids Portraits {Audrey}

I don't even know where to begin to describe how adorable little Miss Audrey is. We dressed her up, dressed her down, stood on kitchen tables singing, played in the park and took chocolate milk breaks...what more could a girl ask for in a day! Oh little Miss Audrey...you are a beautiful bundle of songs and sweetness...

Band Promo Shoot...Bluegrass style!

My uber-talented boyfriend Brian (far left) needed a new band promo shot for his Bluegrass Band he's in. I'm not even sure what they call themselves...but I know they're good! He's in so many different musical projects plus he teaches...so it's hard to keep up with him. Lately he's been giving private lessons to my little brother and sister (Gabe and Bella)...right now they are working on Back in Black by AC/DC...it's so cute to hear them struggling along with the chords. Every week they get a little bit better and the song becomes more recognizable! If anyone's looking for guitar lessons...let me know!

Sacramento Engagement Photography - Citizen Hotel Old Sacramento {Tuti & Jeff}

I absolutely love my job! What could be better than capturing the connection between two people who are madly in love! Please...if you think there's a better job...leave a comment...I'd really like to know what tops this! I'll be hitting the beaches in Puerto Vallarta for Tuti and Jeff's wedding this summer...but first up are the yummy images from their engagement session. This is just a taste of the photo-fierceness that is Tuti and Jeff!

Vintage Valentine Session - Sacramento Child Photography, Modern Kids Portraits

I can't say enough...how fun it was to shoot for the Limited Edition Vintage Valentine this past weekend! So many cute kids...can't wait for the Valentine's cards to start coming in! Here is one of my favorites from the shoot...Decklin and Ava are the cutest 3 year old twins I've come across! I don't know how these 2 could get any cuter! Little Decklin had a rough start to the session but his big sister Ava helped put a smile on his face...not to mention the promise of a few M&M's. See....Chocolate can solve any problem!
